The Site UnScene is proud to announce G. the premiere solo showing of Gregory Siff. Building on the momentum of high profile projects he has completed recently, such as painting with The Seventh Letter, completing The Standard Downtown L.A.ʼs 6th St. Mural, and garnering the street art wall of the moment The Barracuda Wall on Melrose, Gregory is bringing his work out of the galleries, off of the street, and into a space all his own on 11-11-11 at the historical La Founderie in Echo Park, California.

“This year, through art, many truths were unlocked. I had the privilege of laying down paint on walls that my heroes have before me, all across LA. Even painting with legends, The Seventh Letter, who truly embody what it means to be a G.” says Gregory of the meaning behind G. “This 7th letter of the alphabet, symbolizes the heroʼs journey in all of us, creating the best version of ourselves. Goals, Game, Greatness, Grace, Graffiti, Giant, Grounded, Gamble, Genuine, Gold, Green, Grand, God, Galaxy, Growth, Glory, Go!”
In preparation of this event, Gregory has launched Project G., an online event of show preparation with exclusive and intriguing insight into the artistʼs life as he prepares for launch of G. Project G. is designed to create and develop a new and unique relationship between art audience and art maker, in the aim of a creating a show that belongs to both, a show with ʻheart.ʼ You can follow the daily progress, trials, tribulations and successes of Project G. at ʻGregory Siff Has a Heartʼ.
Artistʼs bio: Gregory Siff is an American pop artist, redefining the genre by blending the street and abstract-expressionism into his work. Gregory has shown within the United States at various venues and galleries in both New York City and Los Angeles as well as abroad. His work has been featured in the Deitch Projects Art Parades and he has done live art installations and murals for the The Standard Hotel, West Hollywood Library, De La Barracuda in Los Angeles, Urban Outfitters, The House of Blues and The Beverly Hills Hotel. He has been featured in Interview Magazine, Paper Mag, the LA Times, LA Canvas and more.
